Candyce Fiessel is Richards Beauty College graduate and the owner and operator of Shear Escape Salon and Spa, founded in 2005 in Regina, SK. Candyce has achieved success as a business professional and visionary, with a commitment to education, leadership & mentorship.

Candyce works tirelessly to influence growth in the business of fashion and creative design. She was one of the founding directors for Saskatchewan Fashion Week, through which she was inspired to build and sustain Saskatchewan’s creative industries in design, beauty and cooperative imagination. After attending the Salon Summit Business College in Tampa, FL, Candyce championed a relationship with Summit Consulting Group and became an industry leader by incorporating Summit’s cutting-edge business model into Saskatchewan’s salon industry.

In September 2013, Candyce and her Uncle, Daniel Pritchard, purchased Richard’s Beauty College. In January 2016, they rebranded and relocated to Canterbury Park on Broad Street as The Style Academy (TSA) with a commitment to excellence and innovation in education. The TSA team provides mentorship that equips students to transition into confident and successful skilled professionals, entrepreneurs, communicators, and leaders with maximum earning potential. Candyce is passionate about instilling essential life skills and fierce determination to enable individuals to achieve their career goals, excelling both personally and professionally.

She is an advocate for empowering and mentoring women, with initiatives that benefit and engage the community. She is a Big Sister for YWCA’s Big Sisters of Regina and is a significant backstage creative contributor at major fashion shows and charitable events, including the 2011 and 2013 Power of Pink fundraiser for Pasqua Hospital’s Breast Assessment Centre in Regina, SK. She has fundraised more than $15,000 for the Wascana Rehabilitation Centre with programs and events at Shear Escape Salon and Spa, including Girl Space, in partnership with YWCA Regina, and Behind the Chair Monologues.
