Featuring Sandra Masters, Manager of Credit, Western Canada for Richardson Pioneer Limited & Chair of the Regina Exhibition Association’s Board of Directors.
Sandra Masters is a mother, business professional and a community builder. Calling Regina home since 1999, she is currently employed by Canada’s largest agribusiness, Richardson Pioneer as Manager of Credit for the Prairie provinces. During her professional career Sandra has also worked in commercial real estate, banking and financing – while raising her four, now grown, children. As of September 22nd, she is also a Candidate to be the 35th Mayor of Regina.
As an active member of the community, up until her announcement, Sandra was serving her third term as the Chair of Regina Exhibition Association Ltd (REAL) board of directors. She had been a member of the REAL Board since 2014 and has made significant contributions to the city, including leading the development of the organization’s strategic plan.
Sandra has also served as vice-president of Hockey Regina, coached volleyball, was President of the Parent-Teachers-Association at Lakeview Elementary School and volunteered with many hockey, gymnastics and lacrosse teams.
Sandra is known for her strong work ethic and real-life experience. She has worked since she was 13 – gaining valuable experience in mail rooms, retail stores, as a bank teller, a telephone operator and a restaurant server. She has proudly raised four children, balanced a household, a career and a budget.
Sandra is a proven corporate and community leader. Her impressive resume highlights include starting an independent pre-school that supported early childhood education and bringing Canada’s largest independent bookseller to Saskatchewan. Sandra enjoys working with community minded people from all backgrounds and skill levels to move important issues forward.
Sandra believes in Regina. She sees Regina as a vibrant community that needs a strong vision for a positive future. Sandra understands that Regina needs to support business to be successful, but more importantly, she wants to be part of a community that is inclusive, accessible, sustainable and safe. Under Sandra’s leadership, Regina will continue to increase its profile and be a city of optimism and growth.
When she is not leading community initiatives, Sandra enjoys spending time with friends and family, reading a good book and adoring her first grandchild.
