If you are an aspiring entrepreneur with a specific business idea, or if you have been operating your business for a few years but have not yet written a business plan, this workshop is for you! At the end of this workshop, you will be able to:

- Use the tools available to conduct informative market research
- Explain why a business plan is important

As the regional manager for Saskatchewan’s northern region, Lori is focused on empowering women entrepreneurs to achieve their business goals through WESK’s advisory services and programs. Lori leads and supports WESK’s team of business and lending advisors, as well as leads and develops specific entrepreneurial WESK programs and projects. Since joining WESK in 2013, Lori has been honored to work with many of the amazing women entrepreneurs throughout Saskatchewan.
Lori is a former business owner and her background also includes gaming, telecommunications and event management. Lori holds a Master of Business Administration with a specialization in Community Economic Development from Cape Breton University and a Bachelor of Arts and Science in Anthropology from the University of Saskatchewan.
Lori lives in Saskatoon with her husband and two sons. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends in her backyard or at the lake. Lori is an avid gardener, reader and foodie. Lori admits to reading cookbooks as one of her hobbies.
