Audra Hill, Farmer John’s Market & Kitchen
Audra is the owner of Farmer John’s Local Market in Emerald Park. Farmer John’s is a local market & kitchen that is all about showcasing the best of Saskatchewan’s food producers! When Covid first hit and the supply chain issues started getting worse, like many people, Audra turned to the local Saskatchewan markets. Farmer John’s is more than just a store to buy local food products, it’s a place for new food producers to kick off their businesses and scale up!
Audra has helped home-based businesses get off the ground by providing a space to sell their food products while also providing guidance with business, food safety, certifications, and branding. All to help them grow and scale to new heights!
Prior to starting Farmer John’s, Audra was a C suite executive who spent 15+ years in progressively senior roles managing finance and human resources functions working for private, non-profit and municipal sectors. After pursuing an MBA, Audra spent time focused on studying the local food movement while educating animal producers in the province on how to best market their commodities.
