WESK Connect is a monthly networking event designed to spotlight accomplished entrepreneurs and businesspeople. Our aim is to provide a platform for sharing insights, stories, and knowledge, fostering meaningful connections among business professionals. Did we mention registration, appetizers, a beverage of your choice, and entry to win a door prize are all free?
This event is designed to celebrate, connect, and elevate female leaders, entrepreneurs, and industry experts. WESK Connect embodies the spirit of our successful Uncorked and Shaken with a Twist series but with a fresh look and feel. We are bringing you a relaxed and inviting setting with a more direct focus on connectivity, networking and candor. The format of the event is as follows:
- 5:00 – 5:45PM: Check-in, Networking, Optional Networking Activity
- 5:45 – 6:30PM: Introductions, Candid Conversation with Featured Guest
- 6:30 – 6:45PM: Q&A
- 6:45 – 7:00PM: Networking
This month we are welcoming Miranda Young as our Featured Guest, with Kimberly Evans, CEO of Joy Consulting + Experience, as our Host!
Featured Guest: Miranda Young
Miranda Young is co-owner of Alt Haus, a home decor and furniture store, interior design and murals firm. She has been in the interior design industry for 10 years, and started Alt Haus in 2019. In March of 2020, her and her partner Jo, took on a retail space in Riversdale and expanded to a storefront, just weeks before the pandemic. Alt Haus has been pivoting and expanding ever since, and now has a new retail space in the Broadway area, as well as online store. Miranda still continues to do interior design work, for residential and commercial projects, operates the shop, and also assists with some murals with their partner Jo.
