Protecting Your Startup During an Economic Slowdown: Leading US & Canadian Investors Share How to Navigate Changing Valuations

Autism CanTech! (ACT!) is a federally funded program that helps Autistic youth gain entry-level employability and technical skills for the digital economy. ACT! is a six-month program that includes four months of coursework. These students are then ready to apply their data and data administration skills in industry and look to partner with organizations to host a work experience opportunity.

Why you may want to consider placing a participant:
Upon commencement of the program, ACT! participants will have learned employability skills such as how to use communication and productivity tools, process management, and teamwork. Participants will also learn job specific skills such as data processing and data management.

This means they are ready to jump into your organization and are ready to contribute. Our participants have had successful work experience placements as Data Entry Analysts, Junior Data Analysts, Junior Business Intelligence Analysts, Data and Information Management Assistants in government, healthcare, private, banking and much more.

Increase your knowledge of Nuerodiverse talent and participate:

Motivated entry-level workers, eager to add value.  Only cost to you is creating a meaningful two month work experience placement.
We can help you craft the work placement opportunity.  No one likes writing job descriptions but we do! You know your business, let us take care of the rest.
Free customized Employer Partner training that will empower leaders with the tools they need to provide effective leadership to an autistic participant and gain strategies that support the creation of an inclusive work environment.
Ongoing support during the placement including workshops, assistive technology and Career Coaches.

Austim CanTech is currently seeking partners that need help with administrative tasks this summer who can host a student asap. Feel free to contact Tara if interested and she can set up a teams call with you to go over the program.
