Adele Buettner
Adele is a passionate foodie and country girl (at heart) raised on a farm near Saskatoon. In 1993, she founded AgriBiz Communications and has grown her business around agriculture, food and connecting people through her writing, management expertise and special events. Adele is an active volunteer in her community and an advocate for business, community, agriculture and food initiatives. She has provided leadership on a variety of boards, recently serving as board chair of SaskTel Centre. She has also served as board chair of Agriculture in the Classroom and served as president of Saskatoon Prairieland Park. Adele currently serves on the boards of the Canadian Centre for Food Integrity, the Saskatchewan Advisory Committee on Women Entrepreneurship, and the NSBA (North Sask Business Association). In 2020, Adele was humbled to be inducted into the Saskatchewan Agriculture Hall of Fame following recognition as an Honourary Life Member of the Saskatchewan Institute of Agrology. And, in 2019, she received the Branch Communication Award of the Canadian Culinary Federation/CF Saskatoon and AgriBiz was a finalist in the NSBA Better Business Awards in two categories: Small Business and Employee Retention and Development. There is no place Adele would rather live and build a business than in Saskatchewan where she champions the province, its people and its opportunities. She also holds immense pride to work in an industry that produces some of the best food in the world.
