Colleen Haussecker Born and raised in Saskatchewan Colleen was an entrepreneur at heart and spent 28 years self-employed. In 2012 after a life changing battle with cancer Colleen noticed a niche in the market that was not being filled and started researching to launch a line of Organic spices & herbs. In 2013 Canadian Organic Spice & Herb Co. Inc. was founded and the Splendor Garden brand of organic food products was launched. The Splendor Garden brand can now be found in stores across Canada as well as on amazon.ca and in several export markets. The Splendor Garden brand supplies organic spices, herbs and seasonings along with a line of organic gluten free oats with the newest addition being a plant based coating mix called Fish N’ Fry. As CEO Colleen and her team is recipient of the 2015 Sabex Awards for New Business venture. On March 7th, 2018 Colleen and her staff attended the Mark of Excellence awards gala where they won the Entrepreneur of the year award and the Growth and Expansion award. October 2018 they were the proud recipients of the Growth and Expansion ABEX award. Canadian Organic Spice & herb Co. is passionate about “ Splendor Against Hunger “. This program gives a portion of every sale back to help feed the hungry. Colleen is married to husband Randy Haussecker of 40 years and has 2 sons, Brendan(Riley) and Josh (Brittanee) and six grandchildren.
