About the Business
Immigrant Muse Media Inc. was established in 2021 to empower newcomers to successfully navigate the Canadian culture by providing easy access to relevant information, resources and community.
We are the publisher of Immigrant Muse Magazine, which is published online monthly and in print seasonally, and also developed the iConnect app to help immigrants easily connect to other like-minded immigrants and relevant services. Our online magazine has a monthly readership of over 7,000 worldwide. In contrast, our print magazine is distributed to settlement agencies, libraries, community centres and airport lounge areas with a monthly footprint of 1,300,000.
Oyin Steve
Oyin Steve is the founder and managing editor of Immigrant Muse Media Inc., a media and tech company that advocates for immigrants and provides the information, insight and inspiration they need to thrive in Canada. Oyin publishes the Immigrant Muse Magazine as a solution to the information gap she noticed in the immigration and settlement sector based on her experience as an immigrant. Her company is also set to officially launch the iConnect App this fall. The app connects immigrants to the people, organizations and resources they need at each stage of their settlement journey. Oyin is passionate about seeing every immigrant reach their full potential within the shortest time possible. She uses her platforms to advocate against discriminatory policies and practices against immigrants while educating the perpetrators and influencing change.
