Serese Selanders
Serese Selanders’ journey as a tech entrepreneur has been anything but typical. Serese spent 20 years in the financial services industry, the majority of those years as a senior executive. However, life threw her a curve-ball when her parents went through major health challenges. She invented ORA, an innovative personal safety alert device designed to keep seniors safe. She quit her job to focus on ORA, and a few years later pivoted to address the growing needs of the lone worker market. Her latest company, SolusGuard helps employers keep their employees safe. In addition to leading these two companies, she is an active volunteer with a number of community organizations.
