About the Business
Aurora Forensics is a forensic DNA consulting company that specializes in the review of DNA criminal cases. She assists in trial preparation and has been qualified as an expert witness in both Canada and the United States. Lisa also loves to educate and gives lectures to students, law enforcement, and the legal community.
Lisa Mokleby
Lisa was born in Prince Albert and received her Bachelors of Science in Anatomy and Cell Biology at the U of S. She then obtained her Masters of Science in Forensic Science at Pace University in New York City. While there, she worked at the Office of Chief Medical Examiner- Forensic Biology Department in the homicide/sex crimes section. During her six years, she examined many types of evidence for biological fluids, then obtained and interpreted DNA profiles from that evidence. She also worked with the World Trade Centre team and Family Assistance Centre, helping in mass disasters. In 2013, she then came back to Saskatchewan to start her own Forensic DNA consulting company.
