About the Business
Panko Collaborative Law & Mediation is a family law firm committed to transforming how families experience separation, divorce, and co-parenting challenges. Our areas of practice include Collaborative Law, mediation, separation and divorce agreements, parenting arrangements, child and spousal support, property division, adoption, and uncontested divorce. We also offer legal support for guardianship, estate matters, and notarial services. Since opening in 2015, we’ve grown into a dynamic, multidisciplinary team serving clients across Saskatchewan, with offices in Saskatoon and Martensville.
Our work is grounded in the belief that the legal process doesn’t have to cause more harm—it can be a path to resolution and healing. We prioritize custom solutions, child-focused outcomes, and strong communication, empowering clients to maintain control over their future. By focusing on respectful dialogue and long-term well-being, we help families move through some of life’s most difficult transitions with clarity, dignity, and care.
Charmaine Panko
Charmaine Panko, K.C., is a Collaborative Lawyer, mediator, educator, and the founder of Panko Collaborative Law & Mediation. She is committed to transforming how families experience legal conflict—prioritizing dignity, clarity, and outcomes that protect relationships and children’s well-being. Her work centers on Collaborative Law, mediation, and settlement-based services that help families resolve disputes respectfully and stay out of court.
In addition to her legal practice, Charmaine is a sessional lecturer at the University of Saskatchewan College of Law and the co-creator of a micro-credential course on family justice. She also leads the CommonSense Mediation Academy, which trains legal and helping professionals in family mediation and conflict resolution.
A mother of 11 and grandmother of 6, Charmaine challenges traditional assumptions about leadership in law. She models a compassionate, people-first approach to business and is deeply committed to mentoring others and contributing to a more accessible, inclusive legal system.
