Marea Olafson is the artisan and owner of Freba Pottery where she makes wheel thrown functional pottery as well as have Elemental Claycation which is an immersive pottery retreat on her property. 

Amanda Parkinson

HR & Business Advisor

Women Entrepreneurs of Saskatchewan (WESK)

Amanda is a Business and Human Resources Advisor with WESK and has been with the organization for 5 years. She brings a variety of experience with a focus on HR best practises and general business strategy. Amanda’s passion is helping others by identifying their challenges and opportunities and creating action plans to make meaningful and impactful progress. She enjoys learning about client’s business ideas and helping them move from feasibility to start up and beyond.

When she’s not helping to grow dreams and teams, Amanda is a food, travel and animal lover.

Corrina Kapeller

Regional Development Consultant, Destination Development

Tourism Saskatchewan

Corrina Kapeller works for Tourism Saskatchewan as the Regional Development Consultant in the Destination Development Department. Her office is based in Saskatoon, but she works in all regions of the province with existing tourism businesses, new start-ups and new experience providers. Assisting new experience providers in developing and delivering engaging, hands-on, immersive experiences from their special talent, knowledge, or skill is where her passion lies. Before working with Tourism Saskatchewan, Corrina and her family owned and operated a guest ranch business in Northeast Saskatchewan, where they hosted guests from all over the world. This real-life experience is extremely helpful when she works with other operators throughout the province.

Corrina and her husband currently live near Pike Lake Provincial Park and have 2 grown children who frequently visit for a homemade meal, as gardening, cooking, and baking are Corrina’s favourite pastime activities when not at her day job.
