About the Business
Dr. Thompson provides Employment Assistance Program (EAP) Therapy for insured clients through Canadian insurance companies. As well, Kathleen provides provincial, national and international corporate training on a wide variety of mental health issues related to workplace mental health. Clients include governments, non profit organizations, private sector companies and multinational corporations.
Kathleen Thompson
Kathleen Thompson holds a PhD in Social Work from the University of Calgary. Her PhD studies were funded by SSHRC, the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada. Her Master’s in Social Work and Honours BA in Psychology are both from the University of Regina. Dr. Thompson is a human rights advocate and is a longstanding Director of IHRAAM the International Human Rights for American Minorities (www.ihraam.org). IHRAAM is in consultative status with the United Nations. Kathleen founded TomKat Communications in 1999.
