When she’s not helping clients perform at their best, Rochelle enjoys time with her family, being outdoors, and baking – her French bread is a must-try!
Kara Annand

Kara Annand combines her passion for farming with a drive for innovation in agriculture. Raised on a farm in Southern Saskatchewan, she earned a degree from the University of Saskatchewan’s College of Agriculture in 2001. Kara and her husband Wade live near Nipawin, SK with their 3 children Ty, Lane & Aubrie. The whole family is incredibly involved in agriculture, including the kids, who can be found helping Mom check crops, driving combine, semi or grain truck or incorporating new precision ag strategies.
With over 20 years as an agronomist, she has guided farmers in optimizing crop production and now leads a team of 25 at Ag Grow Consulting. Together with her team they make sure growers are informed on current agricultural practices, bring them innovative ideas to help their farm grow sustainably and be more profitable. Motivated to streamline agronomy, Kara and her team created AgScouter, a groundbreaking tool she uses daily to improve agricultural decision-making. Her hands-on expertise and dedication to supporting farmers establish her as a leader in agricultural technology.
Kara’s commitment to practical innovation and farmer-first solutions continues to shape the future of modern agronomy. Through leadership, technology, and deep-rooted experience, she remains dedicated to helping farms thrive for generations to come.
Patti Durand

Patti Durand, based in Humboldt, Saskatchewan, grew up in a family business near Teulon, Manitoba. Her career has included agriculture, marketing and finance, while managing businesses alongside her husband Larry. Her book, The Future Leader, draws on the many lessons she observed while coaching and facilitating hundreds of family business conversations.
Patti has often wondered, “What if people started preparing for leadership earlier and were encouraged to lead the process?” Patti’s time in her business, Brightrack Consulting, is split between coaching, speaking, workshop leading and collaborating with other professionals to improve and invent the tools for business families.
