Looking to get your foot in the door with major public buyers?

WESK’s Meet the Buyer events are designed to give women-owned businesses direct, efficient access to procurement professionals who are actively looking for new suppliers. This session features representatives from SaskPower and SaskEnergy, and is tailored to support Saskatchewan women-owned businesses that are ready to grow through corporate and public contracts.
Participants will be matched with buyers based on procurement needs and business capabilities. We intent for the result to be meaningful, one-on-one conversations that could lead to future opportunities for women-owned businesses in our province.
Space is limited, and participation is by application only. However, those not selected will be added to a shortlist for future events.

Preparation for this event
In preparation for the event, SaskPower will host a pre-event training webinar titled Navigating Public Procurement one week prior, helping suppliers understand the process and feel confident heading into conversations. Only those selected to attend this month’s Meet the Buyers event will be invited to participate in the pre-event training.
Application Process
This event is open to women-owned businesses in Saskatchewan who are interested in securing procurement contracts and growing their presence in the public sector. Whether you’re an experienced supplier or ready to pitch for the first time, this is your opportunity to connect directly with decision-makers.
Participants will be selected based on alignment with the current procurement needs of SaskPower and SaskEnergy. If you are not selected this time, we will keep your application on file for future Meet the Buyer opportunities.
