Her firm specializes in commercial and residential building design, interior design, and high-quality 3D renderings. Novelty Build Design also sells house plans directly on its website, making creative design more accessible. Funlola is passionate about projects that celebrate accessibility and support people with diverse and neurodiverse needs, ensuring every space promotes comfort, inclusion, and joy .

The shop has a schedule stacked with social crafting events as well as instructor led classes, with a little something for everyone. Shannon has also been a stand up comedian and improvisor for over a decade. Performing across Western Canada and teaching improv for business.
