Funlola Obayan
Funlola Obayan is the owner and lead Building Designer of Novelty Build Design Inc., a women-led, minority-owned firm based in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. She holds a five-year Bachelor of Architecture degree from Virginia Tech, recognized in Canada as equivalent to a master’s degree, and is certified by the Canadian Architectural Certification Board (CACB).
Funlola specializes in people-centered and accessible design, with a focus on creating high-quality, intentional spaces that promote connection, joy, and well-being. Her work spans healthcare, community, and residential environments, often shaped by deep research, lived experience, and empathy.
