Jess is Paper Plane’s President and Principal Consultant. She supports public and private sector clients across North America and Australia, earning international reputation for her work in economic development, tourism, education, and arts and culture.

Jess holds designations in psychology, professional writing for marketing and public relations, and user experience design. As a social scientist, she understands the importance of strategy and planning but values authentic human connection above all else. A cornerstone of her practice involves applying the principles of design thinking, social and behavioural science, and playful placemaking to deepen her contextual understanding while engaging communities in creative problem solving.

Jess has completed postgraduate training in quantitative and qualitative research and analysis and prides herself on being a lifelong learner with a growth mindset.
