BrockHart Ringette Development

Mel Brockman has been playing ringette for over 35 years and is one of only a few players from Saskatchewan to have reached every high-performance milestone, including senior national team. She’s been coaching for a decade, starting in U12 and currently coaching the Sask Heat NRL team. She was head coach of the 2023 Canada Winter Games bronze medal team – Sask’s first medal at the event since Mel participated as a player in 1999.

Melissa Hart has been involved in ringette for over 30 years as a player and coach. She has coached all ages and levels, beginning with U8 and now coaching the Sask Heat. Melissa has had many coaching successes, particularly during her time in U19 A/AA – winning countless tournaments, six provincial gold medals, and two gold and two silver medals at Westerns; along with achieving Saskatoon’s highest finish at nationals in recent memory.
