About
Dr. Marnie Rogers-de Jong is a Registered Doctoral Psychologist in Saskatchewan. She has a Ph.D. in Counselling Psychology from the University of Calgary. She provides in-person counselling in Saskatoon as well as video counselling across the province. Marnie is experienced in working with people who feel trapped by anxiety, stress, and perfectionism. Her goal is to help clients challenge their fears, loosen the grip of impossible expectations, and create a life that’s meaningful for them. She helps people explore how fears and worries are affecting their lives, such as their relationships with family and friends, or how they’re doing at work or school. She works with clients to look at the many different expectations they're pushing to meet, considering when they may be harmful versus helpful. She helps clients to explore new ways of seeing the world, considering the possibilities instead of just the potential dangers. She assists people in using their existing coping strategies and building new skills, so they feel more confident handling challenging situations. Her aim is to help people connect with their preferred values, so they can create the lives they truly want. Outside work, she enjoys staying active, spending time outdoors (although she's still learning to embrace winter weather), hanging out with friends and family, watching Netflix, and listening to true crime podcasts.
