Base Studio (est July 2018) prides itself on creating the best you in a modern industrial inspired atmosphere unlike any other in the east end of Regina. Base is about creating stronger, positive and informative relationships with guests and the community. Using those foundations, we will continue to grow with our dedication and on going knowledge in the industry. We believe in making a difference in not only how you feel at your appointment but also after, by providing you services and products that are environmentally conscious, we support a lot of local Regina and Canadian brands, as well as options that are paraben, sulfate and of course cruelty free.
Amanda Rae
Amanda Rae, owner of Base Studio, is a passionate and hardworking stylist who has made her mark in the hair industry through dedication, creativity, and a client-first approach. Starting her journey at Richards Beauty College in 2008, Amanda graduated early and spent eight years at her first salon, becoming a Journeyperson Stylist. After co-owning a salon for two years, she followed her vision and opened Base Studio—an upscale yet cozy space outside Regina’s downtown core. Amanda built it on the foundation of strong client relationships, ongoing education, and authentic connection. She stays current with trends to keep herself and her team inspired, ensuring every guest feels confident and cared for. Known for her platinum and multi-dimensional blondes, Amanda also specializes in formal styling, cuts, and custom coloring. Her work extends beyond the salon, including fashion shoots, weddings, and portfolios—always with the goal of making clients look and feel their best.
