Cyber Security

Cyber threats are rapidly changing and pose major risks to the reputation, intellectual property, and operations of companies in our province. What were once only dangers read about in the news are now scenarios impacting Western Canadian businesses every day. Traditionally only discussed within IT teams, cybersecurity strategies have now grabbed the attention of business leaders and executives, and this is an important step forward to help mitigate the ever-present risks to businesses in Saskatchewan.

Join Keith Daser, Director of Data & Security at WBM Technologies, to understand more about what threats exist, how organizations are approaching the challenge of cybersecurity, and what strategies you can use to help engage your employees in risk mitigation through a Defense in Depth Strategy.

Presented By: Keith Daser, Director of Data & Security at WBM Technologies

Joining the WBM Team in 2012, Keith has had the opportunity to work in multiple roles across the organization – all focused on a single goal – to help build one of the most progressive and connected client communities in the Country. This varied exposure has led to experience in solution design, leading and growing teams and playing a key role in the foundation of our Alberta client community.

Currently as the Director of Data and Security, Keith focuses relentlessly on finding ways to bring new value to a growing managed services client base and to drive massive shifts across some of Western Canada’s business community through security solutions, public and private cloud innovations and emerging technologies.

With an insatiable curiosity, Keith continues to work both internally and externally to find new and creative ways to deliver our solutions, tell our customer stories and connect like minded individuals across the WBM ecosystem.

Taking in all Alberta has to offer, Keith loves fishing, camping and being in the mountains. Along with these adventures, Keith has a newly found love for cycling which helped him complete the Calgary “Greenway,” a 155km cycle around Calgary on a charity ride! When not in the mountains, you can find Keith spending time with his family, cooking up a storm with his wife, or tending to his ever-expanding garden.
